watch Initial D today... suppose to meet perfect 5... but cindy injured herself... gal hope that u are much better now? zixin and shuqi got medical checkup... so meet me and si yun rather late... hee~ ya joe join us also... for the first few hrs... me and si yun go shopping loh... try a lot of clothes and stuff... ya me and siyun bought a top... overall shopping with si yun is fun... mai dong xi chi dong xi... haha~

wad i can say is initial d is realli a famous show... plaza sing full house loh... then we got no choice but to change venue again... this time book through fone b4 we go... thanks melissa for the help... end up watching at shaw tower... hee~ i think it's a good way to book through fone... though it's a bit naggy... and request u to key in credit card number (which i think is very unsafe) etc... BUT at least u confirm will have the seats la... haha~

rate 3 stars out of 5 la... overall quite a good show... quite exciting looking at the car racing... just tt the love story part a bit redundant and jay chou will always gv a wierd look ( blank look) to express all kinds of feelings... hee~ ya but hu cares rite... he is jay chou...

listening to syl cd now... haha~ a bit lagging huh now then listen to syl... but ya... quite okie la... still think tt he is trying to imitate david tao... shall c if i change my opinion after listening to the whole disc... hee~

i may b taking another tution... at kallang area... teaching a pri 4 boy english... but the place is rather ulu... no bus station nothing... have to walk a long distance frm kallang mrt station... will try once on thurs... if dun like it then reject loh... but i wanna earn more money leh... and i think tution is a good way... hee~

today meet melissa after tution... haha~ read a lot in popular ( cos i reach there early and mel is late... haha) ya then went k box... at first still thinking i will b singing continuously for 2 days... but ya... perfect 5 cancel the k box part le... cos shuqi find it too ex and cindy dun wanna sing *sobz* but nvm loh... i can save money then... mayb go w other grp of people then... got lotsa new songs to sing... lotsa la... but not enough for me to sing... haha~ ya... then went mos to chat chat and eat dinner loh... hey gal... enjoy talking to u ya... haha~

tapes and cds

clear a bag of stuff again... ya... my tapes turn mouldy le... so throw them away liao... can realli feel the pain... end up my mum is the one hu throw them for me... when i am still in pri sch (wow seems so long ago) i save and buy those tapes... or last time very poor then no money to buy cd player... end up always buy those empty tapes then record frm cousins and even frm radio... all these tapes are still w me leh... every night i will have to listen to them b4 i can sleep... and it must b on throughout the nite... haha~ this "bad" habit... until now still cannot change... just tt now no more tape le... either cd or radio...

lucky there is invention of cd... at least it wont turn mouldy... haha~ imagine one day i have to throw away my cds bcos it turns mouldy... i think i will faint loh... haha~ all these cds will always follow me... mayb even till i die... haha~ my treasures...

well some changes for the week... tml having tution and meeting melissa to parkway... haiz... we meeting at 1 when my tution end at 11!!! haiz... shall take my own sweet time there... haha~ then wed meeting perfect 5 for a karaoke, dinner cum movie session... cool man... though will spend a lot la... but i think it's worth it... i think we nv try doing these 3 things at one go rite??? hee~ looking forward to it...

today go out w my parents... buy quite a number of stuff frm guardian... 20% discount... then bought another pair of shoes frm URS... my fav shoes brand... at least wont have leg pain... hee~ and not bad got discount also... hee~ haiz dunno y... mayb bad mood or wad... always wanna buy stuff to make myself feel better... bad habit... better lock myself at home... =x

hee~ yesterday too busy and tired to blog le... so today's entry will include both yesterday and today's programme... huh think will b quite long and boring... haha~

933 S Project Day 3

okie... lesson by di4 cong1... erm both voice projection and stuff... hee~ rather fun... and this is the first time i kai1 sheng1 must lie down one... and know another method to kai sheng... erm usually is stomach in... but this time stomach out... haha~ but i prefer the usual way i do... blur??? nvm la.. not impt actually...

then after tt we have practical... it's both hard and easy... cos we are suppose to say onli 1 sentence... "yi4 hu2 qing1 cha2, ling4 ren2 shen2 qing1 qi4 shuang3" (a refreshing brew that provides an instant lift) haha~ shld b no kick rite??? one sentence onli... BUT NOPE~ if he think it's not perfect... he will ask u to repeat many times... some of them repeat like dunno wad... ya when it's my turn... i am already half asleep... but at the same time very scare tt i got no voice... cos keep quiet for too long le... and the air con is making me feel very cold and throat very dry... but lucky tt i no need to repeat many time... he just say tt i not cheerful enough... haha~ zx did a pretty nice job too... just tt realli think her voice more suitable to b news reporter... cos very clear... and when it's si yun's turn... very funny... di4 cong1 very act cute loh... i think he got a shock cos si yun read the sentence in a very powerful and u can realli feel the impact then he realli do the *pengz* action... and he describe si yun's cup of tea as gong fu tea... haha~ *si yun dun kill me hor... u nv say cannot write in blog* yupz... njoy myself very much... think he is a realli experience dj cum host...

second half... lesson by ma3 li4... talking abt outdoor interview and hosting... ya and mention how to control the crowd when we are outside... hee~ and we also noe certain singer's autograph session very poor thing one... haha~ then practical time again... this time have to form grps to present as if we are outside... then our grp is suppose to do a roadshow kinda of thingy... haha~ lame ideas again... we tot of promoting milk and the spokeman will b nu nai... so ya... nu nai dai yan nu nai la... very fun and lame... and other grp also very funny... got singers call bai1 chi1 and siao siao... haha~ then we keep sabo them ( cos we are the audience ma)

ya... reach there earlier today... cos we need to prepare and go through our script which we need to do recording... ya... saw more people today... some news host frm channel 5 and 8 la... hee~ but didnt approach them...

first half: lesson by jun4 xing1... ya didnt teach much as he is the one doing recording for us... haha~ and okie before zixin start blogging to comment i shall admit tt when he is talking he always have a tendancy to look at me... i dunno y so dun ask me... mayb i am very attentive ma... and then u all keep laughing at me... make me realli very pai seh leh... ya the recording is more than 2 minutes leh... ya quite fun la... seldom got the chance to record ur own voice in cd ma... haha~

second half: lesson by li4 yi2... talking abt creativity and dj... and then we are suppose to do a trailer for 933 16th bdae party... truly speaking... i think our idea is one of the top 3... haha~ realli like the idea... haha~ bhb...=x last but not least... we receive a cert frm 933 and also the cd of wad we have recorded in the afternoon... haha~ gals i listen to them le... haha~ quite funny la... si yun ur voice is so loud... haha~

ya and we met shi kang jun today... rather handsome... but didnt have a chance to tk pix... cos when we are going back to tk cam they say cannot le... so have to stay in the room liao... and i manage to tk a pix when we are going out using hp... but it's very small and blur... *sobz* but nvm... at least i c him b4... haha~

933 S Project Day 2
second day of the lesson... took cab in today... haha~ cos i am late... went bugis to develop some fotos for siyun... but the prob is bcos the lady in front of me is printing like 40+ pix???!!! omg... 1 instant foto $0.50 leh... then she print 40+? she can go other place much cheaper loh... and also bcos of her... the instant foto service doesnt seem very instant huh???

today's lesson is by zhi4 yong3 and wei3 bin1... talking abt production stuff... wad are the things tt u need to do b4 u are on air... erm... quite okie la... just tt certain period of time i feel like sleeping... not bcos they are boring... mayb the content is a bit dry ba... ya then got a chance to present... but didnt do a good job cos dun understand wad the script tt my grpmate is writing... full of english and chinese (wrong word somemore) and han yu pin yin... haha~ ya and a bit brain dead today... so didnt realli contribute la... somemore 2 of them also frm ny one... but not very close so a bit wierd la...

then second half of the session is done by chong2 qing4... he is going through "how to interview artist... ..." ya... very interesting... talk abt some singers and they way they react... hee~ got to noe a lot things tt normal listener wont notice... realli think dj is a very demanding job... u need to possess a lot of quality b4 u can b a dj... and sometimes u kanna takan also have to b very steady... haiz... poor thing...after tt practical time again... got 3 topics to choose la... i choose the question on interviewing a uni professor who is previously a bad guy la... but very suay loh... i kanna called to interview the "professor" (actually is chong qing loh...) then heng heng he started to act attitude and c how i react la... haiz... y me out of so many ppl... and not everyone is been called leh... and the questions tt i prepared has already been asked... so i have to talk and at the same time think of new question.. *pengz* but overall still enjoy his lesson... very entertaining and funny loh... hee~

also... saw florence lian today in the toilet... one of the judge for spore idol??? haha~ at first dun rem hu is she... just find her familiar... and after tt... saw TAY PING HUI... omg he look very handsome leh... haha~ and very tall also... so excited... but didnt talk or tk pix... wasted... haha~ realli look more handsome... i think tv will make ppl look ugly... cos chong qing also look nicer in real life than tv... haha~

on our way out... so lucky got one lady offer to drive us down... it's a long distance leh... so happy ya... very grateful... nowadays seldom have people like her hu volunteer to drive people one ya... hee~

933 'S Project' Day 1
reach the bus stop at the wrong time... suppose to meet at 1.30pm and i reach there before 1pm... *blur me* lesson by hui4 shi1 and jun4 xing1... hui shi go through all the background information and stuff la... all those history etc... lucky is not a very long and naggy one... then go to the recording studio... ma3 li4 was there... but ya not doing a live show... cos of us... didnt manage to c the machines clearly... cos me right at the back... but nvm la... abt the same as wad i saw in UMF100.3... so i end up looking at the surrounding loh... wow lotsa idols autograph... even the ceiling also... and they have lotsa cds... and are all free... *jealous* and ya they gving out leehom genting concert tix... (saw it frm the board) and wad i say was heard by zhi4 yong4... then he is like "u wanna go har" BUT he didnt continue la... haiz...

then ya break time... got snacks etc... and they also show us the photos tt they took during the 933 bao4 chang4 hui4... wow the pix so nice loh... how i wish they can develop the fotos for me... haha~ then nxt lesson by jun4 xing1... well i think he is very funny loh... and he realli looks like one of my teacher... erm and the pattern they talk is also the same... so ya... quite "scary" la... but realli learn a lot frm him... his lesson is abt technical stuff... boring??? nope... find it very interesting... still got songs to listen... haha~ and he is very high tech wor... apple laptop, i pod, i river mp3 and many many more chim chim stuff... he recommended some software to do editing and etc... i just downloaded them... wow fun fun~ and busying transfering all my songs to the new jukebox... hee~ manage to create 2 ringtone on my own... so proud of myself... suddenly like very pro in comp... haha~

and hor... 2 ny students also go for the course... councillors... one is call li ping... the other one i dun rem her name... but those in ny shld noe... nxt time then describe to u all... hee~ and got one guy hor (total got 3 guys in the class) i think he is there to look at djs instead of learning stuff or wad... he still bring camera etc... but quite funny also la... make the class more lively...

we (si yun, zixin and me) are suppose to do a recording on the last day of the session (thurs) and ya... we have already settle wad we gonna talk abt le... pro sia... haha~ cos we are one of the oldest ppl there le... more efficient... hee~ (got another one even older- 20 yrs old le...)

tml zhi yong will b gving lesson... hee~ SOMEONE will b very excited... haha~ i dun wan to mention her name le... but i think u all also noe is hu le la... haha~ look forward to tml... time to have fun... lalala...~

father's day

today is father's day... well so spend my whole day w my family... actually intend to go some restaurant there and eat one... took cab there BUT so suay tt the shop is not open today... so we walk ard and end up eating in a hawker centre... cos lazy to travel anymore... haha~ erm to many of u may not like la... we eat turtle soup... wow the food is nice man... cheap and good... also the svs is very good also... no need to ask the person will automatically come and refill the soup for us... nice nice...

hee~ me pack my room again... now my room is quite clean and tidy... shift my comp to the other side... still packing la... but i got one conclusion... i bought too many things le... then after a few years i will just throw away... and i realli have a lot of soft toys and gifts frm my frens... i nv throw away any of them... thus making my room filled w lotsa stuff... so dun buy soft toys for me unless u all think i realli like it... haha~

saw my photo album... nice memory ya... i think no matter wad... i realli njoy studying in nanyang... all my frens and cca-mates... miss them very much... wonder how are them now... but very wierd to ask now... haiz... all my fault... didnt put in great effort to keep in contact... haiz...

How about a lesson in.....LDMR. Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns. This concept I learnt in Economics in Junior College (or High School). The first time I learnt it I was amazed by this simple yet extremely concise way of summarizing human beings.

Imagine you are very hungry, you begin to eat what you have longed to eat.....say a donut. The first donut is heaven. You finish one in 10 seconds and lick the powdered sugar off your lips. The 2nd donut you might take 15 seconds to finish. And when you are offered a 3rd, you are hesitant. And if you are forced to eat a 4th, the donut begins to tasted like a ring of lard.

This Law states that wth every increase in consumption of a unit, your utility (satisfaction) will reach a point where it will increase at a decreasing rate and eventually start to decline. You would want to smack anyone who offers you the next donut.

It is so relevant in my everyday life that I want to share it with you. How do you prevent it? You can't if you offer the same thing again and again. It has to be something else, say a mint, a yogurt drink, a chocolate chip cookie. NO I'm not refering to the people who queue up forever to bring me the donuts (I SHARE them, LDMR does not apply here.) I'm talking about this industry. The fickle consumers, the same old artistes and the one thing that we offer, music. How do we offer something else? Hmm. Ha. I don't have all the answers.

IF u all are THAT curious... can ask them urself... BUT i promise... nothing interesting... haha~ how about me??? surprisingly... i NEVER buy anything... haha~ cos b4 i go out today my mum said smth like dun anyhow buy things... so as a good gal i shall not buy anything... haha~ or actually i wanna my mum to buy for me instead paying for myself la... hee~

but to think about it... though i didnt buy a lot of clothes etc... something those things i buy are rather expensive huh??? hee~ and most of my money are spend on cds... as what i told siyun and zixin today... i got 100++ cds at home... just take 100 multiply $20... omg... it's more than $2000 le leh... i can actually buy a lot of stuff using tt sum of money... but still music is my life la... so i wont gv up on all my idols... haha~

Qian Nian Zhi Lian, Love Love Love, Ba Ai Fang Kai, Lydia and Wu Xian... ya i think is very nice la... and also... the top 3 people hu won the karaoke competition... hee~ surprised to say tt the first is a GUY... singing wu xian... can sing the the rap part and faye's part... wow and i must say is realli good ya... sounds like faye leh... (dotz.. good or bad thing???) ya and faye is very pretty ya... and i think she and ah qing you wen ti... haha~ they sing together got chemistry... haha~

today is ENERGY's Final Fantasy autograph session... well me and siyun reach there ard 1... and poor us have to queue outside... where the carpark is located... super hot and ya both of us look like cooked lobsters now... *sobz* (how am i going to attend wedding dinner like tt???!!!) so this shows us 2 things... 1st... energy is getting more and more famous/ people wanna c them for the "last time" or 2nd... the place is REALLI small... hee~ and after a few hours sun tanning... we finally shift in... a "corner" where there is aircon (finally)... BUT we are not facing the stage at all... so we wont b able to c them when they reach cos we will b down there queueing up...

haha~ then guan yong and shuqi came... quite late though... haha~ then they didnt get the stamp frm the security... but even if they get will b far far behind... so we did something a bit bad la... we went to some bookshop or stationery shop to buy blue marker and "trace" the stamp on their hand la... and WE SUCCEED!!! haha~ though a bit bad la... but no choice loh... =p

Shopping Day

simple day today... went to eat with my parents and then go walk walk... erm as wad shuqi mention... marina square is TOTALLY different... i was almost lost there... realli a fun place to shop... must visit there more often... hee~ but as everything is so different... i miss those days i study at marina mos burger and shopping with my friends... i will nv get to experience those days anymore... and cant even see the place that i used to visit...

ya... after tt went shaw tower to meet someone... hopefully his help works... haha~ blur right... but anyway very grateful la... and i promise i cannot say... so can onli say until here le... =X

today buy quite a number of things... erm 2 books for myself and one for my bro... then my contact lens solution (haiz... everytime buy solution i very heartache... but glad to noe tt my lens still can tahan another 3 mths plus... so no need to spend money on lens yet =p) and also help siyun buy her Energy album... erm didnt manage to get poster for her... cos they dun have yet... but ya they promise to keep one for me if they have la... and i also manage to get Jolin's autograph session pass frm them also... hee~ it's good to buy things frm people u noe... got lotsa benefits... hee~ no matter wad i am consider their very supportive customer le... buy cd frm them since sec 2 i think??? also intend to buy another shoes frm URS... but the sad thing is my mum forget to bring her UOB card... now got 10% discount... if got UOB card another 10% leh... so will have to buy tt nxt time le... mayb nxt week??? hee~ have been buying lotsa shoes recently huh???

but very sad with something... my brother delete all my msg in my previous fone... wad the hell loh... msg tt i kept for 2 years leh... all my bdae wishes and those encouraging msg tt i receive frm all my frens... i nv change fone for 2 years is bcos i cant bear with all the content inside loh... and now... everything's gone... i didnt even have a last recap... haiz... all those msg very precious to me loh... haiz... feel like killing him loh... told my mum not to lend him this fone le... c la... dun believe me...

anyway i may have a new job doing admin for some drama or arts organisation... but everything not fixed yet... cos my teacher call me yesterday and ask if i am interested or not... but pay not very high la...(according to wad he say) ya... but i believe it's a good experience... and if i realli can get this job also not bad... cos i heard tt u need a diploma in theatre studies to work there... haha~ if not according to melissa... IRAS need people to work there again... anyone interested can go try ur luck ya... hee~

ugly people

people... i am back... somehow miss my bed a lot... have not been sleeping well these days... super sad today... cos frm today onwards wont b able to c my grandma anymore le... but ya these few days also see a lot of things and learn a lot... family is a very important thing and must realli treasure it... dun wait till everything is over then start regreting... and ya... during this 5 days i get to know my relatives better and also get along better w my cousins, nieces and nephews... (sound quite old huh?) but realli hate my auntie... very fake and disgusting... dunno wad she is fighting for... when we are helping out and tonning at night... u will nv c that family... then when a lot of people (i mean other relatives and friends) then she will like come a act big... cos she is suppose to b the "da4 xi2 fu4" but she is realli disgusting loh... can cry like dunno wad when a lot of people are looking... and can smile and talk to her family people happily... (while the rest are so affected by her cause they are so angry... end up so many people started crying) and i can realli see that she is not happy w the rest of us... cos her husband (da4 er2 zi3) is hospitalised... so my dad will "take over" and follow all the procedures... then she is like very unhappy and think tt her son shld take over his dad instead of my dad la... come on loh... fight for this kind of thing for wad??? when we need help where are u all??? onli noe how to cry and act in front of people... and after the whole thing they are the first grp to leave... this is wad a da xi fu suppose to do???!!! okie la... think a bit confusing... tell u all personally nxt time...
