Hiya,

Wanna share with you all what happened yesterday
I was too high to say anything more yesterday

I was kind of nervous
so afraid that the same situation like last time will happen again

but this time, I am more clever
I brought biscuits, a can of green tea, hp and my mp3 player into the waiting room to calm myself down
though it doesn’t really make a big difference during the test but somehow it reduces the time of me being super nervous =p

and know what, I almost forgot to fasten my seat belt
I started my engine, change to 1st gear, release handbrake and about to move off
then I realised I didn’t fasten my seat belt
haha~ luckily I realised early, if not I think I don’t even have the chance to go circuit ba... =p

circuit was fine, I took less than 15 mins to complete all the necessary tricks
main road was fine too, just that I was so afraid that my vehicle will row back while waiting for the red light at the junction

throughout the journey, the tester keep rushing me
to a certain extent, he sounds impatient (maybe he wants to go back earlier so that he can have a longer kopi break?)

and he never failed to scare me
he keep giving me the "haiz" look
I thought gone case again
but I keep reminding myself to stay calm and act confident

however, on the other hand, he is nicer than the previous tester
he informed me the direction way beforehand so that I can prepared myself in advance

back to the room, he continued to shake his head
and guess what he says?

"Aiyo *continue to shake head* your driving huh... (me: oh no, gone case liao) why drive so slowly?"

I was too nervous to say anything, so I just smile

then he continued
"manual car got how many gear?"

"4. Err, no no.5. Plus reverse then 6" I replied

he started laughing, laughing at my stupid ness and the super gan chiong face of mine
"then don’t drive so slow next time la, if not have gear 4 for what? go and watch video at level 1 at 12.45pm"

and he turned to the last page and put a tick at the "passed" box

believe it or not, somehow I prefer exminations rather than driving test
it's really scary... haha~

after 9 months and 9 days (what a nice number =p)
finally I got my license =)

T-I-R-E-D
It' only the 2nd week of revision and I am already "half dead"
Especially yesterday
I was in school for almost 13 hours

Part 2 of Corporate Finance from 10am to 5pm and Management Science Methods from 7pm to 10pm
Was bombarded with lotsa information and have to tahan the slang of the UOL lecturer
Hmm, he was quite okie I suppose, just that I need some time to adapt to his French accent

He will pronounce “call option” as “corruption” “firm” as “firmer”, “CAPM” as “CAP-Mer” (simply he will just end up with a “er” with almost every single word he said) and not forgetting all the symbols
But the idea of using a tablet to teach corporate finance is much better than using transparency or the visualiser
(though at times, it makes me feel more like art lesson rather than CF)

and his dress sense rather exotic

Haha~ second day was not that attract attention
It’s a black top not with those china-type prints
(now I believed that 中国风 is the IN thing to the ang-mo)

MSM lecture was actually a last minute decision
Since Qian Min is going and I am in school, might as well right?
But I was really “floating” towards the end of the lecture
And by the time I reached home, I was so tired that I went to sleep immediately =x

As for today, equally busy
Last driving lesson before test on Saturday
HORRIBLE!
Think I am too tired then a bit 慌神 =x

Tuition after that
I got a shocked today
Was teaching my tutee multiplications of fractions
Everything is fine but she started crying suddenly
And I really mean SUDDENLY
Poor girl, think she is under a lot of stress

Went Parkway after tuition to develop photo
While waiting for the photos, I went MOS for a burger and drink
In the past, I may not want to eat alone
But somehow I enjoy doing it nowadays
Love the peacefulness and the “private time” with myself
I didn’t know that I am an introvert huh?!

STRESS!
Sadly, it’s not because of studies but due to this coming Saturday driving test
Somehow things have got worse
The likelihood that I will pass this time is much lowered compared to my first attempt

Simply because of lack of practice and some bad habits that I have picked up every now and then
And I am only left with one more session before the actual one
*praying hard*

This week is going to be a real busy one
Flooded with lectures, tuitions, driving test, career fair etc etc

Something random, yesterday’s S POP was kinda boring =x
Maybe it’s because I am not at the stadium or whatever reason
But somehow I just find it too draggy

And I really don’t like Wu Qi Xian being the host
I think he is very proud and arrogant!!!

Performance wise was so-so only
Our “ah-jie” didn’t sing live… still pattern pattern =x
Wei Lian and Xin Huey’s performance was not that impressive either
(and I didn’t know xin huey wear braces)
Elva only sang 2 slow songs, didn’t dance =(
Xiao Jing Teng’s one also average only (I have high expectations on him)
And not forgetting lotsa weird weird songs that I never heard of =x

Haha~ okie, enough of grumble
It’s TV time =)

i almost forgot that i got corporate finance lecture today
lucky i saw the timetable while i was packing my room yesterday night
*heng har*
if not i will be going school tomorrow instead

went to trim my hair after lecture
intend to go "chapter 2" but it's already full
so i went to another salon instead
and i ended up spending $188 =(

(since i wanna "complain" about the salon, i shall not mention the name here)
as usual, when u go "these kind of salon" to trim/cut hair, they will intro lotsa treatment to you
so no doubt, the hairstylist suggested that i should go for hair treatment as my hair is very dry and unhealthy =(

that's not the end
she even wanted me to sign up a package with them
(no wonder they are so rich and established)
package was almost $900 for 6 treatments!!!

crazy, she think i am some 千金小姐 issit?
even if i am, i dont think i wanna spend $900 on hair treatment only
so i started crapping with her, telling her how poor a student can be... ...

she really pester me throughout the whole treatment
first giving more and more discount, then giving me longer payment period
i was kinda surprised that she can give me a discount of up $200?!
(hmm, so next time when u gals really wanted to sign up for package, dont agree immediately. use the art of bargaining... haha)

but still, i didnt agree to it lah...
really cant bear to spend so much on hair =p
though the hair cut was okie but i dont really like the experience of being pestered
bleah, sianz...

I wanna go S POP!!!
not because i wanted to support the contestants =x
but i wanna see ELVA and Xiao Jing Deng!!!

didnt know they are coming loh, if not i definately will go j8 on the 15th to queue for the tickets =(

had my first revision lecture (managerial economics) on wednesday and thursday (10am-5pm)
going management house is sickening
as i mentioned earlier, lousy food, uncomfortable lecture seats and small table, inaccessible venue... ...
and some sickening students who simply cant stop talking and complaining

but luckily our lecturer, tobias, is a nice guy.
smart, funny, and his accent, wow! i like =)
(how i wish i can talk like him... haiz, my english cmi)

and i think he is the best foreign economics lecturer
the one teaching "intro to econs" and "macro" are not-that-friendly
or simply, disgusting... =x
they just make us tired and make us feel stupid =x

woohoo, my passion in econs is back again =)

Just a short update on post mock exam cum birthday celebration

Wednesday
my last mock paper
yupz, i really mean the LAST mock paper
i believe that shall be my best paper among the four that i took =x

had a mini post mock exam cum my birthday celebration with school girls at Bugis Sketches
hmm, dont know why but the pasta wasnt that satisfying compared to the last time =(
but still, we had a great time talking aka kpo-ing about various things, laughing and taking photos

Thursday
gathering with CDC friends at Marina Square Kenny Rogers
though i seldom meet up with them but still i always feel comfortable talking with them
and not many people can make me laugh non stop except this group of juniors ba
really bring lotsa fun and laughter to my life man =p

Friday
karaoke session is a MUST after exam
first visit to Bugis TopOne KTV with Shirui, Shannon and Fion
songs quite new, system quite okie, service quite good

dinner at Miss Clarity Cafe
and thanks Shirui and Shannon for the pouch, handmade earring, karaoke session and dinner
not forgetting fion who celebrated my birthday twice for consecutive 2 years
you girls make me like a VIP yah =)

that's one concert that i MUST watch
he's my idol since primary school, same as Amei
and since i watched mei's concert last year
how can i miss this right?!

kinda glad that he sang most of the songs that i wanna hear...
though some may find it boring cause it's a collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra
but i kinda enjoyed it =)

Today
meet p5 at Clarke Quey in the afternoon, lunch at TCC
the pasta that i ordered is super salty =(
and they dont allow us to eat the cake we bought outside =( =(

so we ended up eating the cake along singapore river
that's my first time eating birthday cake along singapore river huh?! haha~
then walked around The Central before meeting my family for dinner

it's just a seafood restaurant near my house

and sad to say, revision is starting this coming wednesday
but still i am grateful for these few days of "holiday" where i can meet up various groups of friends

(and it's better and cheaper than my current one)

i wanted to get a new printer too...
i have been complaining about my printer many time, many years
cause i cant scan books, photos and neo prints =x
but my great printer doesnt go crazy despite so many years of torturing =x
(ya, 我多么希望它快点坏)

and laptop too!!!

but my comp is still in good condition (ya, amazingly after 6 years)
that day i thought the virus will make my comp go crazy
but dont know why, the next day, it's perfectly fine again
haha~ but seriously i dont want my comp to go crazy cause it's really tiring to do backup photos, music and documents...

technology improve so rapidly, my mp3 and camera looks "old-fashion"
and it really cost one a lot of money in order to keep up with the technology...
maybe when i started working ba...

but this time, it benefits my dad/ brother rather than me

a few weeks ago, i took part in some "contest"
voting the best concert, worst concert, best songs/singers, worst singers/songs etc etc
and yupz, i just receive a $100 worth of Crocodile voucher
(that's why i say it does not benefit me loh =p)

haha~ but still
i am lucky!!! haha~
i dont even remember i took part in that until i saw the voucher

went to UOL website just now, hoping that there are some past year questions where i can take a look at
and yah, i almost forgot that this is the second year that they are offering this module
the only source of past year questions, is that super pathetic less-than-0.5cm-thick examiner report with those rather "meaningful" comments

so i thought of trying SIM website
at least to take a look at previous mock exam questions
and ya, stupid me, we are the first batch taking this paper in SIM
so there wont be any past year mock exam paper at all =(

bleah, i hate to read lecture notes
especially notes that are full of excess denied content =x

i am back from 白云岗2008 =)
though i am suppose to study for mock
i ended up singing k with melissa in the afternoon
and went back to nyjc in the evening

if i am not wrong, i am 1 of the 3 ex-student from 2003 batch
the other one was sun hao and not forgetting liting who accompanied me =)
(the number is decreasing in an increasing order huh?! *haiz*)
hmm, think i will be present every single year as long as lao shi is still in ny and in charge of ccs ba
that's what i always believe in --饮水思源 haha~

love the video intro though somehow i was glad that our year didnt do that
cause quite paiseh to see yourself on screen and everyone is laughing at you... haha~

the show was kinda interesting--《银针传奇》
古装 VS 时装
was quite worried for myself at first cause i dont really understand the plot
(i thought i am no longer a "drama" person- though i wasnt that professional in the first place la =p)
but luckily liting and i manage to figure out towards the end of the show
certain people sitting behind was like "huh?!"
*muhahaha*

and i really love the lighting!!! esp the butterfly!
didnt manage to take picture of that since photography is NOT ALLOWED during the performance =p

though the actors part still 有待进步
but 谁没有第一次 right?
