i am very impressed with DBS and the type of service they provide

just called in to cancel one of my debit cards
(dont worry, i am not going to post the picture of my card online, even though it's not active anymore. oopz)

and the call took me less than 3 mintues including waiting time and me listening to the prompts for 2 times before pressing the right options

and definately i believed that their system is much better than the beloved bank that i previously worked in =p

the super friendly and hyper CSR whom i spoken to told me that my card will be cancelled with immediate effect
i was like "dont be crazy, immediate effect?!
UOB need 3-5 working days leh..."
(but of cos i didnt say that in front of him lah)

and to my surprise
really cancelled le =x

that's really very fast huh?
and what i call efficiency sia =)

though UOB allows me to accumulate points to exchange vouchers
but the rate so low, every $5=UNI$1

was totally pek cek during POA

3 hrs going through 3 past year exam question

most of the time the lecturer is talking crap
giving us the exam format
(which obviously we can see it from the past year paper itself)
and giving us time to solve the question

lucky we attended the LBO lecture this afternoon
if not huh, really waste my time travelling to sch for this useless lecture =x

but to certain extent, i think towards the end the story is kinda lame and the effects is quite lousy =x
(shall not talk more about it in case you all watching it)

oh and since cindy u cant visualise the oranges that i am bringing to my tutee's hse

and today morning
immediately after lecture
she ask me why i called her

and in the afternoon
while i was shopping with the girls after lecture in city hall/ marina sq before going over her place

the mum called again
saying that her daughter still in sch and mayb i can go a bit later cos she will be tired if we start tuition immediately when she reach home

so i ask her what time is convenient
and guess what,
she suggest i go around 7

come on loh
it's a two hour session and if i go around 7
by the time i reach home so late le
so i rejected her saying that i got something on at night le
and yah she "huh" again

not that i am trying to be nasty but u think huh
if i am going to compromise, i think i will be suffering like mad in the near future
and seriously i think the mum is too protective of her sec 5 daughter

and mind u, the pay is not that great and you expect me to teach u everything
and i really mean EVERYTHING!!!

so yupz i dont think i wanna continue anymore
at first i still thinking of teaching her until she finish her feb exam
but i think i gotta think twice again =x

it really help us to remember many complicated things in an easier manner
and the funny thing is u may remember the weird sentence or phrase but dont remember what is it used for =x

mayb that's why until now i still like to create weird weird stuff for me to remember facts (like marketing models and those steps involved)
so that i can recall key points faster and easier =p

how i wish i can do the same thing for LBO, Macro and POA sia

but end up i bought k800i because of strong recommendation by my bro

the price difference is only $60

he will stop teaching, stare at you until you find a seat to sit down and approach you in the middle of the lecture to ask why you are late and give warnings

as for him, i think he will not miss us
but he will miss edison ba

cause the lecturer like to ask him question

went to rebond my hair this afternoon
