went marina with melissa after tuition
at first it's suppose to be a normal meet up session

but cause today there are fireworks performance so we decided to stay behind for the performance
as most of you know
a few good place to watch fireworks
in front of esplanade, the bridge in front of Fullerton etc

however, due to the rain
we went to the esplanade library instead
managed to find sofa seats that are facing the windows
you must be thinking that we are so heng right?
got such a good seat, can watch fireworks and no need to squeeze with others

but sad to say, we thought that the performance is at 8pm
but it's 9pm
worse still, library closes at 9pm

an uncle talked to the librarian requesting them to extend opening hours for another 15 mins so that we all can watch there
but obviously they rejected us and shoo us out before 9pm

so we went out and while trying to look for a place to watch the fireworks
a lady beside us gave us 2 tickets
it's "Singapore Fireworks Celebrations 2007 ticket"



we thought it's the one at the top of esplanade [cause it states that there is private event going on] BUT wrong
it's at the floating gallery

it was already 9.03pm and we are still in front of esplanade
we tried to squeeze ourselves to the floating gallery but somehow not very successful
when we are about to give up
a group of malay boys were also trying to walk pass the crowd
so we just follow behind them and finally squeeze ourselves out of the crowd and run all the way to the floating gallery

thank god from all religious that the fireworks somehow delay and only started when we have sit down =p

the fireworks [spain, tml is china] that i took using my handphone
the first few mins is kinda boring, only music and the electric kites
then continuous fireworks for about 15 mins
[paiseh, as it was kinda unexpected i didnt bring my camera out]


i would like to thank 3 people
1) the stupid librarian that refuse to let us stay behind to watch the fireworks which i belived the whole group of them will stay there and watch the performance [they claimed that they have to close the library at 9pm sharp =x]
2) the kind lady who gave us her tickets
though i wonder why she dont want to watch it since the floating gallery can sit down and the view is much better
but no matter what, i still thank her for her kind deed =p
3) the group of malay boys that help us 开路 =)
