Japan Getaway - Part 1 : Osaka

Dear friends, I'm back... for a week =x
Sorry for not updating, had been very busy unpacking stuff, washing clothes, work, meeting and doing volunteer work

Just got the photos from Zixin

And I'm "proud" to announced that I took about 2800 photos in 2 weeks (inclusive of videos)
Fion, that explains why there is no update till date

17th May 2009
Wake up very early in the morning to catch the flight to Hong Kong
Thanks Daddy and Mummy for sending me to the airport
(my bro got driving lesson in the morning thus unable to send me off)

Our flight from Hong Kong to Japan was delayed which we ended up missed the bus to Osaka
Thus we got free one night stay at Garden Hotel (Narita)
Not just flight delay, one of them also lost his luggage
Super suay right?
At the point of time, I'm actually very sad
Cause that's the first time I encountered such problem when travelling

苦中作乐-ing...

18th May 2009
Go airport to look for airline staff regarding our flight delay compensation
Siyun & I "overslept"
I called the hotel extension to arrange for morning call and at the same time use my HP to set alarm
But the morning call doesn't work and as for my phone alarm, it's spore time!
We rushed like mad to join the rest for breakfast

Due to this unforeseen circumstance, we took train to Osaka instead

On our way there, happen to see Mt Fuji

Dinner time at 饺子王将 aka our "buddy meal" restaurant

Shop around and take pictures with these beautiful lightings...

To Osaka Aquarium

Universal Studio

We tried many many rides, if I never remembered wrongly, we only missed a 3D movie?

There are a few very impressive ones, they really make you feel as if you are one of the character in the movie... Spiderman, Jaws, Jurassic Park... ...

2 very cheerful and fun 4D movie
Though it's in Japanese, it's really engaging and interesting...

Had my scariest roller coaster ride - hollywood dream
It's kinda cool, can select the music you want, the seat got lightbulbs around it and the seat is considered confortable
I can still rememer that mine is some pop music, that really makes you very high
The ride is really scary, I screamed throughout the ride
(but thanks to this ride, I think I level up by quite alot)

Magical Starlight Parade
People will sit along the road and waiting for it to start

It's amazing, don't know why but I teared a few times
Somehow I am very touched by the parade
It's like those characters that you used to read/ watch in TV appear right in front of you
Sounds stupid but at least I know I'm not the only one who cried

21st May (Last day in Osaka)

Yeah! Finally we reached Osaka Castle Museum
Not many pictures as certain level photography is forbidden

Next stop: Isshinji Temple
It's famous for "Okotsubutsu" - a Status of Buddha made of remains
In order to produce it, the remains of some 200 000 persons where powdered and kneaded in conformity to the form of Buddha

Shin-Sekai -Tsutenkaku Tower

While the guys and Zixin went spa world
Li mei, Si Yun and me went to "walk around"

In fact, we stayed in a shop for almost 2 hours
Shop for cosmetic!!!
The beauty consultant is very nice
I dont think you can find the kind of service in spore

That explains why I spend so much there though some product spore also have
And if anyone goes Japan, please go and buy the make up base - Qiora
ONLY IN JAPAN and I regretted buying only 2 tubes
Should buy 6 or 12 back loh!!!

We spend 2 hours plus with her so must take a picture loh~
