Japan Getaway - Part 3 : Tokyo

23rd May

After the super long and tiring bus journey
Had breakfast at Mac
Didnt take picture of my breakfast as I'm too tired

Credits to Li Mei

After leaving our barangs at our home in tokyo
Went to walk around Askusa

Next stop: Akihabara also known as Akihabara Electric Town

Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime and otaku goods, including new and used items
Personally I think nothing much
Maybe because I'm not buying any electronic goods ba, furthermore I feel abit off when I'm there, alot of weird shops selling weird stuff...
Haha~ tell you all more when I see you all ba...

But the sushi that we ate is nice
Especially the plate of Tuna below

Next sumo wrestling

Hee your dear friend here was sleeping most of the time =x
Too tired already =x
But I am more "clever" as I started sleeping when I'm inside
The rest falling asleep towards the finale...

I think those Japanese will find us really weird
Spend money to come in and sleep... =x

I only wake up towards the end of the show...
Ok la, similiar to what I saw in the TV and I dont really fancy sumo
But still it's a different experience when you watch with the Japanese than in the TV

Dinner and supper while waiting for Shuqi to join us...

25th May

Taken in our home in Tokyo

The name "Shibuya" is also used to refer to the central business district of Shibuya Ward, which surrounds Shibuya Station, one of Tokyo's busiest railway stations.
Shibuya is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area.

I have been waiting for this ever since I know I'm going Japan
Yupz, the first branded bag that I buy

Next stop: Tokyo Tower

It is the tallest self-supporting steel structure in the world and the tallest artificial structure in Japan.
The structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations.

The tower acts as a support structure for an antenna. Originally intended for television broadcasting, radio antennas were installed in 1961 and the tower is now used to broadcast both signals for Japanese media outlets such as NHK, TBS and Fuji TV

I Miss Mc Pork!!!

26th May

Hakone!
Instead of going Mt Fuji, we decided to go Hakone
We purchase the package at 5000yen
Took express train, bus, cruise and also cable car

But it's foggy, cant really see Mt Fuji
Lucky I saw it big and clear during the train ride from Tokyo to Osaka

Same old pose with our ice cream
Mine is purple potato... very unique taste

Going to board our cruise...
It's super windy

Time of cable car

And the not-very-clear Mt Fuji

You can find Hello Kitty everywhere!!!

Tried the hot spring black eggs
Known to 延长寿命 and good for complexion too
Taste different from normal eggs...

Another form of transporation - tram
The tram is tilted in a way that you will feel as if you are in a cable car going downhill

Dinner at Shinjuku - sushi again

Ok, time to prepare to meet Eileen
Lena's wedding jie mei's meeting in the evening...

At the rate I'm blogging I think I can finish by this weekend???
